The Lord has allowed us to continue the work on the wall, and we have not come down. We give Him the praise and glory for the great things He has done and is doing.
Rev. Moon's vision for ministry continues with emphasis on Evangelism and Outreach, inclusive with Prayer, Praise, Service, and Commitment. He and his wife, Sister Winford Moon are thankful to each member who took the opportunity to join in the work.

FALL 2014 MINISTRY OF THE SEASON
19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV)
This ministry was born out of the desire to honor God with our bodies. At Words of Faith A.M.E church, we desire to not only get into spiritual shape, but to get into physical shape as well. We meet on Friday nights from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. This “hour of power” is led by Dr. Adrian Hodge-Alexander, a very knowledgeable and respected fitness trainer. Exercises and nutritional advice are targeted to each participant’s specific goals. Women and men are encouraged to join us on Friday nights, regardless of your fitness level. This class proves that you can have fun and get fit all at the same time!

THE WORDS OF FAITH PRAYER BAND
The Prayer Band under the direction of our First Lady, Mrs. Winford G. Moon, has witnessed many miracles, signs, and wonders. Our petition before God this year is to let His Holy Spirit reign during our worship services. We want God to manifest His presence so that all may see His glory and be drawn to a Spirit-led walk, resulting in a life of prayer, praise, and commitment. We pray for healing and deliverance. We are in constant intercession for our members, our community, our President and the United States of America as well as International situations. We pray for our Pastor and all who are in authority. We bind together to bring down the strongholds that would hinder souls from being saved. Our prayer band meets every Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m.Home | Leadership | Ministries | News & Events | Blog | Newsletter Signup Copyrights © 2010 Words of Faith AME Church All Rights Reserved
